Competition Process

Aim of our Events:

To identify and refer talented students, who outperform in the competition, to recruiters in top organisations.

Participants will still have to apply following the standard application procedure for organisations associated with the competition. However, chances of success will improve if they are a top performer.

The Process:

We will be hosting 2 hour events at each university taking part. The events usually take place in a large IT room on campus which is easily accessible to students.

Within the 2 hours, there is an initial 15 minute presentation which includes a member of our team explaining how to play Pressure Trade and what kind of skills are measured. For the remaining 1 hour 45 minutes, students compete in (online) games against their colleagues to outperform by making the most profit, achieving the highest success rate and much more.

The top 3 - 5% of students from each university are then invited to the Finals, where they will compete to be top performers of the entire competition!

Following the competition, we will get in contact with the top performers to find out more about their achievements, experiences and interests. These top performers will then be referred to recruiters on an ongoing basis, providing a strong case for why they are suitable for their organisation(s).

Registering for our Events:

It is free for students to take part in any of our Events.

We require students to register on our website and sign up to their university event before it takes place. For events with over 100 students, we will be guaranteeing seats on a first-come first-serve basis (so it is best to sign up to your event as soon as possible).

Students are required to bring their student ID cards to the events where checks are made to ensure all participants are actually students of the university.

Once you have signed up through our site, all you have to do is turn up on the day of the event (being held somewhere on your University Campus).
