| The PTL Inter-University Competition 2011/2012 lasted 50 days, starting on 18th October and ending on 6th December 2011. Within this period, PTL hosted Pressure Trade events at 20 top universities across the UK in order to identify extremely talented individuals who could be referred to recruiters in prestigious organisations.
PressureTrade.com averaged 2,398 hits and 40+ new sign ups per day over the entire period!
Competition Process: Each University which participated had a two hour event held on campus within an IT room. The initial 15 minutes included a presentation from a member of the PTL team, followed by 1 hour 45 minutes of competing on PressureTrade.com. Within the assessment period, players competed against each other in a zero-sum game with the aim of demonstrating numeracy, risk management, consistency, development and other skills. Following the two hour event, the PTL team would observe the statistics and progress those who scored highest.
The top 3-5% from each university event progressed to the Finals, which took place on Monday 12th December 2011 in Central London. There was a high level of talent at this event making the day extremely competitive... Click here to read about the Finals and here to read the Finals Results... |
